Insurance Claims
The tow record your insurer asks for — condition photos, times, locations, and itemized charges on a signed digital ticket you can forward to your adjuster.
After a collision or a breakdown, the tow is usually the first document in an insurance claim. Every Swift Towing job produces one your adjuster can actually use.
Before the vehicle is touched, the driver photographs its condition. Pickup and drop-off times, both locations, and every charge are recorded as the job happens, and you sign the ticket on the driver's device.
You receive your copy as a private link with a downloadable PDF. Forward it to your adjuster and the claim starts from a record — where the vehicle was, what state it was in, where it went, and what the tow cost — instead of from memory.
Whether your policy covers the tow depends on your policy and your insurer. Tell the dispatcher when the tow is part of a claim, and have your insurer's name and claim number ready if you already have them.

Questions about insurance claims
- Will my insurance pay for the tow?
- That depends on your policy. Many auto policies and roadside plans include towing, but coverage and limits vary — your insurer can tell you what yours includes. Either way, you get an itemized record of the charges for your claim.
- What does my adjuster need from the tow?
- Usually where the vehicle was picked up, its condition at the time, where it was taken, and what the tow cost. The digital tow ticket records all four, with photos.
- I lost the link to my tow ticket. Can I get it again?
- Yes. Call +1 (613) 890-9008 with the date of the tow and the vehicle, and we will send it again.
